On Wednesdays between 5 pm and 9 pm, I work at Community Care clinic at 141 Health Center Drive, Boone. There are no charges for being treated by acupuncture there. Currently the Clinic's rules allow treatment to only those without any health insurance. New patients to Community Care Clinic are also required to fill out the three forms: Intake form, Informed Consent Form, and Arbitration Agreement Form. Please go to Downloadable Forms tab to print and fill these forms before coming to the clinic.

Acupuncture patients to Community Care Clinic are also requested to read the following information sheet. It will help them in getting a better acupuncture treatment. It is a good idea to keep a printed copy with you: Acupuncture Information Sheet

Normally, I see 6 to 8 patients on per evening in the three treatment rooms available.

I welcome walk-ins as many times the patients with appointment are not able to come due to various reasons. Therefore, if you need acupuncture treatment urgently, do not hesitate to drop by and I shall try my best to accomodate you.

The directions to the Community Care Clinic are as follows:

From Downtown Boone

  • Take Highway 421 South/East towards Wilkesboro.
  • Turn right at Bamboo Road. (Landmark: There is an Exxon gas station on the right).
  • Go past the stone quarry (about 2 blocks) and immediately turn right at Brook Hollow Road
  • Go 3 blocks and turn right on Health Center Drive.
  • Turn left in to the parking lot of Hunger Coalition Building.
  • Enter the building, tell your name to the receptionist and ask to be seen by me.
  • You will be asked to do the paperwork.

I also need a Volunteer Acupuncture Assistant to help me in treating patients at Community Care Clinic on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It is an excellent opportunity for Jung Tao students and ASU Pre-med / nursing students to get on-the-job training.
